Here at Kingsgate Catering, we pride ourselves in using local suppliers wherever possible.
We are also making huge steps forward to reduce our carbon footprint and reducing our single use plastic.
Unlike a lot of Caterers, we are eliminating the use of plastic platters. Instead we are moving to Eco Boxes, which are fully biodegradable and can even go in your compost bin. We have removed all plastic cutlery and switched to a wooden alternative. The only time plastics are used is for lids for our Executive Boards and when packaging fruit skewers (fruit and eco boxes are not the best of friends).
All of our cool bags are collected and re-used for future orders.
We also try to plan our delivery routes to incorporate as few miles as possible whilst meeting our clients required delivery times. Our kitchens are set within a 65 acre wooded, sports environment so we appreciate how important it is to operation in a responsible and sustainable manner, we even grow our own herbs to add to our dishes.
